  In this day and age of modern technology and communication, and with a company primarily aimed at tech, I find it comical that I have to physically drive half an hour to speak to a human being at the store, in order for the guy (with awful appearance for someone dealing with the public) to order something online for me! I get an email telling me that an item I want is now in stock, and a phone number to use to reserve it. I call that number to be told it is still saying it is out of stock in the store I want to reserve it from. I am then told I could order it online but, as I'm using a voucher they sent me, I have to physically go in to reserve it in store. Are they really unable to reserve an item in a particular store, from their main office?!

  Worst customer service imaginable and a huge lack of technical knowledge. The hard drive on my 7 month old laptop I purchased from Currys failed through no fault of my own, I take it to Currys for them to 'restore my data' which I was given a 100% guarantee from 3 staff members that they would be able to do this easily. Instead, they replace the faulty hard drive and back my data up with a corrupted ExHDD which is the same one that they use to back up 100's of other peoples files! (no wonder the thing was corrupted!!!!) I have a letter of them even admitting if was their fault but absolutely no compensation was given. Thanks for making a bad situation 100 times worse.
